As shown in the title, this is a MP4 converter. It converts almost any known video format to MP4 for most of the known MP4 players. When installing the program I was surprised by the installer, because I was asked to select the components I want to install, but the only available option was ‘Full installation’. When I unchecked that box, the installation continued normally and in the end nothing was installed. It was nice installing nothing.
After installation, I started to test the program. My first choice was a movie in MPG format. Before converting the file, I wanted to preview it and instead of starting the preview, a blue line appeared in the middle of the preview window. When I tried to convert the file an error message popped up and the conversion failed. Fortunately when I tried other types of files it worked. Unlike other programs, this program didn’t include any watermark besides limiting the converted length of the movie to five minutes. The program also offers a PSP Video Manager to help you transfer your MP4 video files.
The user interface is intuitive and the key features are listed on the main screen. Besides the buttons for adding and removing files, clear the list, encode, pause, and stop you have a preview window, a progress bar, and settings (both general and advanced).
